  35. Hi Joe,
  36.         I think your problem could be CrossDos. Do you have it running 
  37. in the background converting text files from 7bit - 8bit ?
  38. If so, I seem to remember that this messes up binary files ( it does
  39. on my 4000 anyway). Try using just the pc0: driver ( don't run
  40. CrossDos at all - you have to reset the machine even if you close
  41. CrossDos after booting! )
